Hi all,
I am a retired engineer, living in the jungle of Borneo and have been for the last 20 years, and came accross this site whilst looking for information on an old crane.
I have built up quite a well equiped engineering workshop, able to weld (stainless, aluminium, cast iron) and all types of machining. Fabrication and welding, Mig, Tig, and good old stick. I have just spent the last year rebuilding a massey ferguson 65 Mk2 tractor from scratch, much enjoyment.
It is nice when you find these types of site for old machines, and there are many people out there with much knowledge of old machines.
So thank you for having me.

Rabet

Hello all, my name is Tim been lurking around for a while and have made a couple of posts so thought I’d introduce myself. I work as a pipe layer for Paul Badger Pipelines working on gas and water mains etc.
I have a keen interest in anything old but especially Caterpillar and I’m currently restoring a D4c and saving up for my dream tractor of a D8 8R ( let me know if you’ve one) but with a baby due in a 2 weeks might be some time before I get one!!

Hi Folks,
I work in the agricultural parts industry in the US for a distribution company. I spend my weekends working on a farm as their mechanic. Hopefully some day I can buy my own farm. In the meantime it is great to be able to work on someone elses.
