Rob it looks very similar to the American made Pacific tank transporters some of which were acquired by Wynn's after the war and adapted for heavy haulage, but this one is not a Pacific. From memory the Pacific's also had chain drive for the final drive.

Its a French military Berliet. No chains there.

The loader in the snow looks like a Weatherill artic steer which came quite late on in the Weatherill history. Possibly an L84.
