Just a reminder that the old dumper is still on going its just that other things on the railway have taken preference at the moment. plus the fact I'm in the sun for a while. :D

Aye. Its 20 degrees centimetres as we speak, I'm back on the radar the same day as Andrews open day but late on so I cant join in. He'll prob have another later on in the year (hopefully).

Back to it, eventually.
Someone said it was a lot of bother to convert these to electric start and they're correct.
The starter ring increases the dia of the flywheel by a about one and a half inches, so have to alter tin work etc.
The starter motor Brkt also housed a dynamo (I think) so had to fab Brkts for alternator.
And so it goes on.
