How-to: Browsing the forum effectively

Post #1 by Holger » Tue Sep 15, 2015 7:49 pm

Hello,

everybody has another way of browsing the forums, but there are three essential links to use that make sure that you dont miss anything:

- New posts
This link shows all topics with new posts since your last session/visit to the site.
You can find that link in the header navigation or in the Quick links.
For me that is the first stop when entering the site.

- Unread posts
This link shows all topics with unread posts.
You can find that link in the header navigation or in the Quick links.

- Unanswered posts
This important link shows all unanswered topics.
It is very important to click this link now and then to check if there are any topcis with no answers at all.
Lets try to reduce those posts to a minimum!
You can find that link in the Quick links.

At first I thought it is very hard to get to the first unread post in a long topic.
But it is easy, also on the phone and tablet.

Clicking your way through to the first unread post in a topic:

The topic title does send you to the FIRST POST/first page in a topic.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
