Re: Gigarailer by Rexquote
Hi Folks,
Came across another two Rexquote Gigarailer machines today, the first one is based on a Case machine but I'm not sure of the exact model number (one for IBH to confirm )
The second is a Komatsu PC138US tracked railer.

Hi Jeremy,
Most of the Case machines on the rails are 988 based, they prefer these because they are a heavy old piece of kit for lifting duties
Heres one I used to operate...
Nick.

Re: Gigarailer by Rexquote
Hi i know this subject was posted along time ago and i have only just found it but as a gigarailer driver myself i thought you guys might be interested about this machine still and what sort of stuff can be achieved by this amazing machine. First of all some of the pictures of the machines posted on this topic they are not all gigarailers you have some megarailers and crawlerrailers all converted by rexquote. But back to the gigarailer i have driven the gigrailer since its release a few years ago mainly used for lifting rail, sleepers etc also can be used to handle ballast on site but this machine is rarely used for digging purposes. The machine has a lifting warning system if there is something to heavy for the machine it gives a loud warning it also gives a warning the same when you are near the max weight the machine can handle. The gigarailer is a very practical machine and can achieve most tasks on site. I have never had the problem of not being able to complete a task in this machine. you can see some videos of the gigarailer in action on you tube on my site its me actually driving the machine filmed by my nephew. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j9l86w-WRZY there are three videos you can watch. One more thing i am new here and would like to welcome myself to everyone and any questions about road rail plant or rail work send me a message thanks.
