None of these bikes were with me , but they're all samish year , my mate was on a Velo Thruxton, over there for Manx GP.

Hi, i had a 380 & 550 Suzuki many moons ago, they drank more fuel than a 245 Mass Ex i drove lol, happy days lol.

I had the 550, was a bit disappointed with the performance, and yes you are right it did drink the fuel, but back in the 70's petrol was cheap.... so i got a GS750 after the 550, that was better

Maybe we should have a ' my old bike thread' I also had a GS750 ,great bike. The Bonnie is my first brit , always liked them , right hand change strange at first but getting used to it , all my mates are old brit bike men even though they are younger than me

Martyn, we (me unt'lass) did a bit of a tour around your Parish the other day, it started with myself consuming a few Vimto's (beers) then getting the fancy for a "Ham Sandwich" anyhow it works out that a thingy called Googal or somthing like that had us booked into the top suite of some fancy pit in Sandwich near Ham (it could have been t'other way) this led to sampling the local beers plus lots of walking about cliffs and stuff, plus taking in the local massives i.e. Margate Ramsgate and so on, I must admit to having a Blinding time, but I have to say I can have fun being locked in a Cupboard, the supid thing is when I put in my order in a Pub in Sandwich for a lunch time morsel, the tasty looking lass asked me if I wanted Ham in a Sandwich or a bread roll thingy, I ask for the thingy so I never did get my Ham Sandwich, my life is tricky??? is this Off Topic,as I was going to post a few pick's of Bikes I have owned including a HD Sportster 1200 with nothing standard.

Hi Tony, i heard you was down this way, and yes the wee village of Ham on the Deal road just out of Sandwich ... and you know what, i have never had a ham sandwich at Ham or Sandwich either, there is a lovely fish an chip shop by the toll Bridge in the Sandwich right opposite a posh hotel though...

But i am glad you enjoyed your time down this way it can be pleasant down here though ...
