Re: CMN Photo Competition January 2013
There was a Pile or Drill rig sat all Arse up on the M50 between J1-J2 for some weeks just before Xmas, I think it was a Dawson chunk, it was stood back up on a night Closing of the Motorway, it would seem its a bit common or catching on???

Graham,
Not sure what happened, it is just down the road from where I am working. Yesterday we had 85 kph gusts and a tremendous downpour of horizontal rain. I can't say if that was the culprit but it for sure didn't help things. Click on the link and you will see what I'm talking about.

Last one from me for this month; I nearly forgot to post it rather warmer now then when I took this shot of a Chinese built crane against a snowy background.

Yes Stu it would be interesting to see what became of it? Looks like Brookes are moving towards Liebherr now?

Re: CMN Photo Competition January 2013
Right, my first time to pick a winner
After much deliberation, drum roll please.....................................
In third place...............L.Kezz with the 385 loading the 777, recognition must go to the man who spends so much of his time down that hole!
In second place............Ross, just love the picture of the frozen truck, ought to be on a calender
And the winner is..........LDK, a moment in time never likely to be repeated when you're passing with a camera, a pile rig driver using initiative and looking like he's trying his hand at ground anchors (unintentional I'm sure!)
Special recognition to SRB who had his readybrek and got his spanners out in the snow!

Well thank you Clive.......This is a turn up for the books, I never expected a result, just thought they might be of interest.

Wow, didn't think I'd make it in the top three! As my photos always come from that hole! Thanks. However they will probably be the last photos you will see of that site...last time I was down some dude pulled up next to me in a white four by four from that site and said I shouldn't be there coz I'm "within the site boundaries" I've been going down there for ages over the past couple of years and it's only took them until now to tell me!
Cheers
