Re: CMN Photo Competition December 2011
A23 looks like carnage ...............still if they'd have cut the trees down long ago there'd be no need for a road improvement scheme..........there's plenty of visibilty now and the road must be loads safer!
Crikey tho'.........that Carillion...............the paperwork , I hope they know how to build a road because so far all they want is to excercise their secretarial skills with DAILY point of work risk assesments, daily machine inspection sheets, signing in, signing out, hi-vis this, hi-vis that, the right amber beacon, glasses, hats, I expect thay even check the milk for salmenella!!! Still.......... I've never been asked for my driving licence yet????????!!! been asked for everything else tho'..........oh, and no-one actually knows if I can speak english.........
By the way, there was a vehicle fire at about 10ish one night. Bearing in mind the site is about 2 miles long, the fire was at one and and most of us were at the other, we were mustered....................you guessed it, in the compound, closer to the fire than we were at work when the alert went up!
Safety.........you cant make it up!!!!!
