Here's one from me. It's probably one of the rarest sites in the UK. That is to say it has the only BE 480-w walking dragline in the country & probably the last RB195 cable shovel capable of working, the only cross pit conveyor system, possibly the only Komatsu Demag H135s faceshovel still operating in the UK.......oh and it's the only active limestone quarry with it's own cement works, in Scotland. All in all a very interesting site.

I think those Fowler VF's are a great machine.Would love to own one but the price they fetch in the UK are high,on average £6,000 plus Saw one on a dynomometer test at a show once,it still put out the power at very low revs.My old boss used to have one.We used a cartridge to start it.
