Well firstly Id like to thank all the following members , PK1200 ,XS650 ,Jeremy Rowland ,Stuart Bickley ,John345me ,Nick Drew ,SAMK706 ,Stui ,Tracshovel ,Vfinau ,WXman ,Joe Summerhill and Newjcb123uk, all fantastic entries, making a decision really was very hard, but I finally decided that ...



NewJCB123UK is this months winner and next months judge with his pic of a restored JCB 3, a true classic ,very well done


Second place goes to Stuart Bickley for the farmhouse - opencast scene ,a remarkable sight !

and third place goes to WXMan for his Cat 990 with wheelchains a good snap of a great machine

Hey Fellas - I've only just realised that I was Julys winner - Hooray (When do I get my prize - Holger is it a new SLR camera and £500 worth of accessories? )

Thanks clockworklozenge I see you've got a good eye for colour and a soft heart for the classics

Now a quick speach: The digger that won the competition was advertised on my local Gumtree web site - it looked so tempting that I had to make the hour and half trip into the sticks to see it. Turns out it had been restored by this gentleman and the reason he was selling it was to purchase a JCB 3D off a neighbour that he prefered instead. After a detailed drive and snoop round I decided it was just too similar to my own JCB 2Dmk11 and I let it go to the hands of someone else . I discoved through chat that the man selling it did do a lot of fund raising work for a Large Childrens Hospice here so I decided to donate £100 to this worthy cause. So technically the JCB now has a little more significance and managed to raise a littte bit for charity as well

I will really really look forward to judging this months Augusts entries - so come on guys get snapping I wanna see lots and lots and lots of photos - make it hard to decide a winner
