Re: CMN Photo Competition Feb & March 2017
coming back from Townsville saw a Abrams tank ??? new Australian tank turning into Lavarack Barracks it was on a Drake swing wing quad axle float and a Mack Superliner up front
I may have that wrong about the tank the leopard tanks we had went on a normal quad axle float and dolly but this bucket of bolts had pilot vehicles the lot so its only a guess
Just for some thing different some road works plant
Getting rounded up by a old Western Star "go you good thing"

Some great photos there but I think it has to go to Fowler Man with his action shot of the Priestman Wolf skimmer Mrsmackpaul came a close second with his first photo because it had a tank in it and yes it is an Abrams M1.

Hey Hey well done Fred
Well I learnt something just now I actually guessed something right wonders will never cease to amaze me
I also in between now and then passed a old S line Inter and the Haulmark float that is used to shift the Leopard tanks, I reckon Australia has had the Leopard tanks for over 30 years now at a guess, were did those years go ????

Thank you Charlie I'm glad you liked the Pic. I waited about a while to catch the Priestman dropping the muck.
