:lol: Yeah, he said he'd never driven anything with so much horsepower! He could n't believe it'd do 56 everywhere loaded or not! He's not used to it with the little 92 6 wheeler.

My second for this month, I had a driving lesson in a Sherman M10 tank destroyer today! Those drivers had some bottle and some ear ache I bet!!! :lol:

It takes some driving Jeremy. :wtf: Two Detroit two stoke supercharged engines in the back. :insomnia: You need to run it between 1500 and 2000 rpm and she sounds like she's screaming! :o Manual 5 speed box with foot clutch and foot throttle, steers with tiller levers. :D

I bet that sounded nice; mind I would not have liked to face a Tiger 1 in one of those Sherman's. :lol: I must get to the tank museum at Bovington when they run the Tiger 1 there, it's the only running example in the world and it would be a treat just to see and hear it run. :thumbup:

That Sherman believe it or not has an open top and has a canvas roof!!! :o Not too good if your enemy wants to throw a hand grenade in to it! :dizzy:
