Topkit they are some great pictures!
A spitfire flew over the site I'm working on a few weeks back (which happens to be next to rolls Royce offices! The sound is just epic!

Just a side note though....the second pic is two spits! An early mark and a later one with the proper bubble canopy!

Joe i stand corrected they announced it that the Spit and Hurricaine were due and as o looked through all of my pictures i could not make up my mine if one was the hurricaine and the rear part of the fusilarge looked too slim and the wings were too rounded to be a Hurricaine, if you go to the bbmf website it gives you most of the dates that their aircraft are flying so you can pick out any that should be in your area, i am very lucky here as we are on the flightpath into Biggin Hill so we get them over all of the time, the other Friday the Lancaster came over very low it was an awsome sight and really makes you think how those guys flew them on there many daring bombing raids true heros indeed.

Oh I agree! I'll have a look at the bbmf site when I get a second! Would love to see them all in action!
