Excellent pics, small amount of input and a great dio scene, some of them models are too good to be on a big muckshift
How do you score the Cat 390 and is it worth adding to the fleet

Cheers Andy, thanks for the comments.
I look at some dio's and they seem very cluttered, I like to try and keep it to a minimum although Im no expert, this is only my third! I wanted to put a small wheel loader in there to clear the screened earth but though it might be too much, in hindsight it needed it.
The 390 is a cracking model, well worth getting if you have the other 2. The only issue I and others have had with it is the bucket rance. there is a small tab that stops it curling in and tipping all the way, just a case of filing it down but I'm not going to do it.
I would like to show at Burnley but I need to get a bit better at it first!
Need to dust the models down now. If the weather holds tomorrow I might knock another up!

From the total area you have been using and by breaking the different tasks down into seperate smaller areas it is not cluttered with machines, I have seen dios before which are inindated with equipment and in the real world looks totally wrong, I like what you have done by having machines working in different specs and machines having maintenance etc which are all an every day occureance

Typical komatsu! Only tack on the job with a service van parked along side it!
Tut tut tut, loading rock into the TA230 with a tailgate.......
Cracking set mate!

Great photos! I like the 390, what a beast! Some nice models on there, quite like the 936 too! Seeing this is making me want to have a pop at one myself! I just think it's amazing what you can do for a dio with such a small space! Excellent pictures!!

Cheers for the comments Luke. The 936 is a cracking little model, quite heavy for its size, the 390 on the other hand is a lovely bit of kit.
You should get out there and knock up a dio. You dont need much, just throw a couple of machines in.

I have a few days off this week and knocked one up today, a small mine, will post the pics at some point. I'm considering adding the 936 to my fleet.
