Does anyone know what material I could use for a wire fence on a 1/50 scale diorama? Like the one in front of the 777F in this photo.

Making a "pig enclosure" for granddaughter's model farm and this mesh from local hardware store scales up to about a 12" mesh at 1/50. Bit big for accuracy bur sufficient for this purpose!

Thanks for that mate, I'll check my local hardware stores for some mesh, I think I'm going to use some dowel for the fence posts too.

Luke, you might want to try brass mesh, its expensive but will do the job ...

Re: 1/50 wire fence.
Here in America I had some luck in the bridal supply section of my local Hobby Lobby (hobby/craft supply) store.. they sell a fine mesh ribbon (for hats I guess) that scales out around 6-8 feet high in 1/50. This makes a dandy chain link fence, not so much the chicken wire/square mesh you pictured but it might do. You'll probably get some strange looks for the lady shoppers but if it works...
Happy modeling!
