Stop motion videos.

Post #1 by niner » Sun Oct 02, 2011 6:36 pm

Has anyone on here done any stopmotion videos?

I have been looking at a lot on youtube and videos on youtube on how to do them, is it painstakingly long?

Do you need a specific camera? A mate of mine in work has one of there all singing, all dancing Nikon SLR's that has a stopmotion program on it, mine hasnt. I take it you could take hundreds of pics just to get a few seconds to do it right?

Ive got a camera and a tiny tripod, I just need to get my backside in gear to do one. Idealy you need an area where you can set it up and leave it and come back to it to take the pics.

How do you mean? Were they picking fault with them?

They are hard to do, and I suppose it takes years to master the art.
