scale model research & help requested

really couldn't find a specific place for this request. if this is annoying, please read no further.

i want to build a 1:24 scale air compressor & water pump, both powered x a model A four cylinder engine.

Q: how would the coupling be made from the banger transmission to the two devices?

Q: could there be, perhaps using the factory transmission, a transfer case that would allow power to be used driving one or both pump & compressor.

Q: would the engine be powerful (in the real world) enough to serve both?

the entire assembly will be installed on a reinforced '28 Ford A chassis.

i am only interested in creating a plausible model. if a 1:1 has never been made, there's probably good reason!

Do you mean a 1929 Ford model A chassis?

yes; bad memory - the chassis is from a Revell 1929 Ford pickup.

as noted in my original post, this is a scale model.

sorry if you thought it to be 1:1 scale.

A set up from the 1950s with the original Ford Thames fitted with a big diesel that drove either or. I doubt the Ford model A would have had sufficient poke for a full size road compressor and a pump.
Out of interest, I wonder when portable air was first used for breakers?

One of the more unusual uses of the Major engine, but a superb one, with plenty of variations around.
