jcb 2b value and rarety.

on the british construction machinery forum a guy has for sale a jcb 2b in quite good nick and running.any ideas of its value or how rare is this digger. :?: regards, jack preston.

Not that many around ,the 3C and JCB 4 are the ones most people go for.Value ? around £1500 for un unrestored runner. Make sure that the gearbox is OK ie does not jump out of gear. Cabs and brakes are the downfall of JCB 's
I would like to get hold of a JCB 3 with a super major skid unit. Must buy a lottery ticket tonight.

A 2b is on my consideration list too. Nice and handy size a bit more manouvreable than a 3C and a bit rarer so a better restoration prospect for someone with less room such as myself.

That ones been on Ebay for a few days now and no-one has bit at the buy it now of £1500. The buyer may well settle for a bit less on his best offer!
