Any of you who can tell my something about the modelname and year of this nice old loader? My dad have had it for 40 years probably, and he still use it on the farm. This year it have been loading trucks with grain. Not for fun - but seriously. I think that is pretty cool after all these years.
I hope toy can se the picture. I also have i film og it running but I will post that later.
The engine is a 6-cylinders Leyland, as far as i remenber.

it is a super loadmaster sl 2000 or sl 3000 depending on the transmission type of clark for 2000 or allison 3000.nice old machine jens..regards,john preston.

sl1000 only ever had ford or in the odd few for export to arab countries gm diesel engines if my memory serves me well.regards.john preston.

you are right about the ford engine,i drove a SL 1,000 in the late sixties and i could remember a plate in the cab stating northrop industries.
