komatsu WA380

Post #1 by SRB » Wed Feb 03, 2010 6:17 pm

Worked with a couple of Komatsu wheel loaders t'other day, thought id share a couple of pics of them...

First up a WA380, quite impressed with it, the only niggle (and its probably just a thing till you get use to it) is the gear selection is on a lever under the direction lever, a few times i shifted to 1st instead of forward, again probably just me being useless!

Hi Stu, yeah, those little 380s are pretty nice machines. We have a half dozen or so of them, and the only to complaints I have with them are the two levers like you mentioned.....but you get usedto them pretty quick. And the fact that I always seem to hit my knees on the steering column if I tilt it back to where the steering wheel is comfy.

But all in all, really nice little loaders.
