Acquired a Hough H-30B

Post #1 by Andy H-newbie » Wed Feb 28, 2024 8:15 pm

Hello,

I am looking for help in figuring out the year of a recently acquired Hough payloader.

Model Serial No.
H30B 3400202U004740.
Gas engine IH G-263? Serial No. 372544 R5.

4 wheel drive

I am thinking its a 1972???

I am having trouble understanding the chart I have, it seems that the prefix and last 4 digits don't match up. Is it me?

Thank you for your time,

Andy

From contributors on other forums I think it is a 1972.
Does anybody know if a G-263 engine is the same as a C263?

Hi Jeremy,
Is this board mostly for overseas folks?
I think I have found enough information to get going on maintenance and repairs. Any additional is appreciated.
From what I have been able to gather information on other boards, it is a 1972 H30-B with a C263 engine.

Thank you.
Andy
