Tarmac`s L220F with 5.4c/m bucket at Bayston Hill Quarry.Supplied from Walters late last year to replace a 980G.Drivers did`nt like it at first, mainly due to the Cat having command steering, the Volvo having a normal `wheel,& a smaller cab than the Cat.But they all like it now.Does look smart with the new cab i reckon. :)

And hereĀ“s a red one. I think it is a 4200 or maybe a 4200B.
The tool box behind the rear wheel is home made.

Heres the latest edition to the scotland job,its a 03 l110e with 10000 hours, ran it myself for the last month and well impressed with it,tried a new chinese loader before this,a demonstrator 300 hr cheng gong 958h,which was the same money as the 7 year old volvo.no comparison as far as the operator comfort was concerned and very light steelwork

Some Pics of a Chepstow Plant L220F . I took this pic loading stent in a china clay pit, personally a much better machine than the L150F in the other pit. Tyre selection is critical in this application and these "D lug" type are not very good in these greasy conditions :( . I think a Cat loader is a better machine but that's my opinion, but the Volvo is not a bad machine in the right job conditions such as truck loading in sand plants or in a waste managment roll.
