I have a Thwaites three-quarter ton dumper. I believe it is a Nimline Mark 1. It is unrestored. It starts easily and has been reliable for the 25 years that I have owned it.

Now I must sell it. I have no idea what it is worth. Please will somebody advise me.

With many thanks............Richard

There's a very nice looking Barford dumper of similar size to yours with a Lister LR2 engine in Classic Plant (Nov) going for £395. Scrap iron is about £200/ton I think. So at a guess between the two? Condition and the availability of a willing buyer are probably the factors at play....

Julian.

Thank you Julian. Sounds like good common sense. Two rough-looking small dumpers made £200+ on eBay last weekend so I get the message.
