I tried a twist grip D3 a few years ago....I was totally lost.
The 931 & D3 were a great 6 tonne machine.I know a guy with a D3 that has done 21,000 Hrs doing rural house cuts,driveways,etc.He repaired the finals for the first time recently.
A rebuilt trans will cost about 7K over here now.
