Old CAT 951

Hi Guys, found this old 951 and RB22 on my travels up the east coast off Scotland.

Hi Steve.

Funny enough there parked up outside a company called John Gunn & Son. I think it was their workshops.
I was able to speak to the owner as he caught be taking the pics. :geek:
Both machines are on the button as well.
I work for Finning and wish I'd got the serial number of the 951 now, could of got some info on it from our service system. :doh:

951-63K? fitted with a side tip bucket, it tips out to the nearside, the 2 models built in the Glasgow Factory were the 89A = 4".5 bore and the 63K fitted with the 330c 4"3/4 bore engine, love to see em'

Nice machines, 951's fitted with side tip buckets were the first Caterpillar machines I worked on.We had two based at Cathays Cardiff BR depot.I must have been 17 or 18 at the time.Thanks for posting :thumbup:
