Maybe a few yards of polytunnel? It's the dew at night that's often the gotcha on fresh paint no matter how warm and dry it is in the day. Even with two pack - ask me how I know :(

I am waiting for the summer to start  My mate has got a very large tent that can cover a D8, he said that it did not cost a lot so maybe................. .
Thinking back years ago when we used to overhaul and repaint machines, one of the boys put a tin of yellow paint too near a space heater.I found out why they called them space heaters,it put the paint tin in orbit

I have sent you an email. Photos would help to assess its condition.close up photos of sproket, tracks, bucket and an all round view of machine would help.Looking forward to hearing from you.

Gave the Drott another functional test this morning ,got another refurbished injector back and fitted it.Engine runs good now.Very heavy rain stopped play,a bit frustrating as I have a week off.Could have finnished this machine this week with good weather.Only the right hand track frame to rub down and a few more bucket repairs left. Made up two new straps for the hard nose.I have had to change three of the four original injectors, even the injection people could not fix it.New nozzles fitted and tested ok
