Notice quite a few of the Cats don't have a 4in1 buckets is this because owners were saving cash or was their some advantage in certain situations


4 in 1 buckets were only available on drott sized machines in the 60's. Later they were fitted to Cat 951's or the Komatsu D50's that we operated (approx. 1.5 cu.yd buckets). Later still they were fitted to Hanomag 600 (same size as Cat 977). They were not built by the manufacturer though (OEM's). Hanomags were fitted with Ulrich Simplex
