Nice pic of the IH Crawler. That bloke doesn't have much vision....it would be a long day inside that little space.
I suppose even the ugly cabs were well liked when the weather got bad.
I'm one of those idiots who likes open ROPS canopies, where you can feel & see everything going on.Nothing like going home after a day on the D8H ,wearing 2 yards of topsoil on your face.
CD players, pilot controls & heaters are just extra fluff to me....& don't even mention airconditioning.
We in Australia are lucky to have such good, temperate weather.

-The shovel in the 6th picture down looks like a Rocon of Basingstoke machine-have you any more pics of this one please? Tim

Suppose you've seen ROCON 's website ,lots of cool 70s colour pics of well worn Terex scrapers and other stuff -D8's Hymac Traxcavators. In 'Photo Library' 'Days Gone By'
http://www.roconcontractors.co.uk/

Wonder if they ever got the rams repaired off this tipper :D

Still finding the odd gem like the first pic , was going to keep it for my forthcoming 'Bedford Tippers at Work' eggstravaganza but it fits this topic more :D ........

Great pics there again Craig!

What's the machine in the first pic? - looks like the wrong loader arm/ram setup for a cat I think.

The cab is a Winsam, very popular (and deafening) on agricultural machines of the time.

Keep on finding them Craig. Each of your last batch is new to me  I've got a few more yet. Will upload more as I get time. Here's a couple.
