Good photos Craig,
Coincidently the guy I am working for at the moment has an old Hanomag D700D Dozer(about D7/8 size) and I need to do some work on it, the tranny overheats after 40mins or so and loses drive so I am told ,however I know absolutely nothing about this machine and wonder if anyone can give me any info especially on the transmission, is it powershift or some kind of hydrostatic job as there is no gear range on the tranny lever, only forward and reverse with two foot pedals for steering.any info appreciated.
Only dozers I have worked on were cats or liebherrs and this definately aint like them
Sorry no photos as camera like Hanomag-"no worky"
Thanks in anticipation and fingers crossed---Innes

Its just appeared in a local tipper operators yard. He also does the odd demolition job. Its got a tow strap on back so wonder if it's come off a tip.The Leyland behind is a gritter so may have bought them at an auction.

Bought a Hanomag 600 in 1977, changed to MF 600 when Massey took them over. Decent machine but lacked hydraulic power on the bucket crowd. We even got the local MF dealers to couple the ripper spool to the crowd, but it came nowhere near to a Cat 977 on hard digging. Good engine though and nice to operate.

That's the one my dad drove until he retired. I'm sorry about not having more pictures...
It was a nice machine.
