An old Renault with even older recovery gear mounted on the back.
I recognize that recovery gear rear body and boom as being from a Ward La France wrecker circa 1944 as I had one once. Strange to see it transplanted to a relatively modern truck as it's all mechanically powered no hydraulics in sight.

They loved the old American wreckers in France, spotted a Ward La France still in use their a couple of years ago.
