One of my firs jobs at 18 was for a waste paper company as a drivers mate they had a fleet of 4 2 brand new 82m Scanias and 2 aging Bedfrod TKs no comparison really but it has always left me with a fondness for the old TKs rough lacking in driver comfort air con through a kick panel at your feet , but work horses that you always remember with fondness ! !.

Taken in 1950 is this original Bedford Esso tanker.

The Clark Mich had an unusual loader arm geometry.

How well were the TMs rated in their day? When did Bedford stop producing them?
