HGV speed limits

On Radio 2 last autumn (14) there was a discussion that they were proposing to increase the single carriageway HGV limit from 40mph to 50mph in February (15).
Anyone know what happened?
If a LandRover doesn't leak oil, it's run out.

Good time to invest in a wrecker to pull some of the muppets out of the ditches who think that they have to drive at 50 all the time :lol:
