Love it!
A couple of obsevations on the Ford film... On the building site all the hardhats appear to be US style or is that how they were then? Also, the D1000 on the banked test track looks to have a higher mounted cab - could it be the camera angle? V8? Is it too early for the twin engine?
Good job they didn't try some of that with our D1000. Delivery driver drove it into the yard and something didn't look quite right. Jacked up the front and both wheel bearings were so loose the angle visibly changed as it was lifted. Not a good start.

If a LandRover doesn't leak oil, it's run out.

Re: More you tube gems
interesting enough with the Ford one I have a DVD almost the same but it has a Yanky Voice talking it almost sounds like an Aussie talking to me those hard hats were that front end loader driver was wearing were standard in Australia at the time and the D 1000 came out with V8 185 hp cummins in them and later had the 210 V8 cummins some of the film looks like its at the You Yangs in Victoria that was Fords proving ground out here it had the banked track and all and other stuff who knows but there is some gum trees and then some pine trees its proberly made up with bits of film from all over the world
