D&G Machinery, the South West dealer for New Holland Construction Equipment, invited the Digger Blog to try out one of their demonstrator machines recently, so I headed to a nearby golf course in Cornwall to check it out.

Case ConstructionEquipment UK will field a strong, four-man team at the final of the Case European Rodeo in France later this year, following successful heats in both the North (2/3 June) and South (9/10 June) of the country. Operators from all over the UK attended the heats, as more than 100 customers a day took part in the four Case roadshow events.

The latest addition to the fleet of equipment from Banner Contracts (Halnaby) Ltd operating at Lafarge’s Thrislington limestone quarry at Ferryhill, Durham, is a new Doosan DX520LC crawler excavator, which has replaced a Doosan S470LC model.

I have recently been in contact through Facebook, with an old school friend called Michele McNulty who has lived in Western Australia for some 24 years now. By pure coincidence her son is a mechanic in the large open cast mines in the Perth area, and she has kindly sent in this first batch of photos to share with us.
