KHL: Hyundai unwraps first in high reach line

Hyundai has the first of what will be a six model line of high reach excavators at Bauma. The 58 tonne RS520LC-9 DM with a reach of 26 m (85 ft) is based on the 52 tonne RS520LC-9 and features a four section boom. This has a pinned two-section 13.75 m (45 ft) base that can be split for transport, a 2.75 m (9 ft mid section and a 8 m (26.3 ft) upper arm. I was at the Bauma today & had look at the new demo machine. Quite impressive & they have the rest of the -9 machines on display . The 36t & 46t are now 38 & 48t, the 52t is the demo machin. Strange machine was their 5t mini exc, it loos the size of a 8t macine but is only 5.5t. Lots more to look at this week including an infamous brand machine by EDER!
