Nicks Blog | Caterpillar 428 backhoe loader circa 1985

During my recent visit to the Cat factory at Desford in Leicester we were shown one of the very first models of backhoe loader to of come off the production line at the state of the art facility.
This model was probably manufactured around 1985 and has remained at the factory ever since as part of the demo fleet and for carrying out odd jobs within the factory grounds.
