This video shows a novel way of moving big mining excavators and face shovels around job sites much quicker then they could normally move under their own steam, thus boosting production and saving track wear too.
The machine simply tracks onto a ramp over the wheel axles and then places it's bucket into the skip of a dumptruck which acts as the tow vehicle.
Seem's incredible that those axles could take so much weight and indeed remain fixed in place throughout the journey!
