During a visit to Komatsu UK’s facility in 2011, I was given an excellent tour around the impressive factory and as you will see in this re-visited blog post, I was delighted to be given full access including photos.

KOMATSU’S SHOW STOPPING SHOVEL

Bauma 2016 already seems like a distant memory now, but with the big kit that was on display often unseen in Europe it’s still great to look back at some of the most memorable machines on show in Munich.

Visitors to the stand of Chinese manufacturer SDLG could be excused for taking a second look at the design of the company’s machines which do look very similar to older generation Volvo machines.

PRIESTMAN MINI MEMORIES: BLOG RE-VISITED

Famous and now long gone British excavator manufacturer Priestman Brothers of Hull briefly entered the mini excavator market in 1981. I was loaned some photos of these rare machines by Steve Shevill, of Kent Based Six Mile Excavators.
