Yanmar pistons & lift pump identification

I've got some Yanmar pistons and fuel lift pumps which I'd like to identify, is there any way to do this?

The pistons have the star shape combustion chamber, and ML545, ML550, MS545 or MS550 and an A stamped into the crown. On the underside is the Yanmar logo and 4 Izumi, other than that I can't see any other markings to identify them?

The lift pumps are Mikuni and have 9K on the front cover, but dont seem to have any other markings at all?

Any help would be appreciated.

Does this help?

Because the pistons and pump seem awfully similar!

That's great thanks. They are remarkably similar, but thats not where we got them from. I've been googling for ages trying to find out some info and never saw that site.

Yeah, one of those random things, I did a search for "yanmar ml550" and got a few Yanmar engine pics followed by loads of Mercedes related things, changed it to "yanmar ms550" and about the 4th hit caught my eye and led me to that page!
