JCB identity and manual(s)

Post #1 by TimBarrett » Sun Nov 30, 2014 8:31 pm

As of last Thursday I am the proud owner of a JCB 3CX x 4, Sitemaster with a white cab (well sort of white). I have no idea of the age of the vehicle or indeed how to look after it properly, service it and generally maintain it. From the chassis plate I know the serial number to be "3CX-4/299995/P/S". I would be most grateful for any advice on age, but more importantly where I can find a `Haynes' type manual or similar please.
Sorry for the bone, simple question. But more to follow I suspect. I owned an old 3C until about 7 yrs ago - that was very simple to work on and operate. Progress?
