Butler Drott lights

I have had a few phonecalls about getting spares for Butler lights as fitted to Drotts.
What I have found is that the internals off other lamps will fit a Butler casing.
This is what I do
Strip all the internal light fittings such as the reflector ( these are usually rusted ) and lamp holder, they are held in place with clips.
Clean the lamp casing and grill, repaint if required
Obtain a fordson major lamp, complete unit is less than £20 from Dunlope tractor spares
Remove the internals from the fordson lamp casing.
You will find that the complete lamp internals will fit the Butler lamp casing reuse the Butler lense if not damaged, just a clean may be required.
You will find that the Fordson lamp may be high or low beam.I wire it to high beam, this gives a good bright light.
This has worked well on a few machines now
Will post photos when I overhaul the next set.
