Hello , I have a 1995 JCB js150lc and was wondering if someone could help me , do the foot pedals use air or oil to operate ?
The reason I ask is one track has developed a mind of it's own , it's rotating in the forward & neutral position , move the pedal to the reverse position and it stops but won't travel in the opposite direction .
Jay.

Hi Jay, have you cleaned out the muck around the base of the pedals, slightest bit of muck under pedal, and the censors can be a bit erratic

Many thanks for that Martyn , your a star .
One of the plungers was stuck solid , so I took both valves off and cleaned all 4 of them , what a difference !
Cheers , Jay .

It was lucky it happened when it did , on the flat , I was about to go working on top of a banking . Not a huge one but big enough , had it stuck then it could of caused some strange smell to emit from the drivers seat area !
. I took the floor mat out and cleaned all the dirt out and will keep an eye on it from now on .
I'll take some photos today and post them on here this evening .

Hello,
I had exactly the same problem with my JS160. I think this could be something to lookout for through-out the JS range.

The clock says :
....but going off the condition of the track chains I think it's a bit more (lol)
anyone know what sort of cost would/could I be looking at to renew the chains & rollers ?
