I have 3 12.5kg buckets(of no use to you as your in France)of semi liquid grease i use with my Montabert hammer. Its called EP 000,& its like wall paper paste, but free flowing. It gets poured in my hammer grease pot & the hammer sucks it through to keep the internals greased up.
Our company just buys it in bulk each month,so you may find EP 000 a good bet. :)

Thanks Hammerman.

I managed to find EP 00 at a local auto factors. It's nearly runny enough to pour into the box (needs a spoon to help it along) and it has made a huge difference to way the back arm moves. It's still a little bit jerky but is much more useable now.

I paid €27 (about £24) for a 5kg tub - how much do you pay for a 12.5kg tub...?
