I personally go for a 70-200mm lens for my SLR but find that on site visits you can be too close to whats working so am thinking of going for a 18-200mm to cover more focal range! I would also like something in the range of 400/500mm for times when your are stood at the edge of the site and need a long lens to get a decent photo! If only i could afford one!
