After 20 years of Cat/Terex dozers and scrapers I have tried any ways to 'save' money on hyd pipes.I've tried the mobile boys and find them just too expensive. If they had all the gear and fittings etc and could do the job in one visit, then fair enough, but they can't for some reason :dizzy: .These days I just go to Cat with the old hose or just a part number. They aren't cheap but they allways fit and you can forget about them for a few years. At least when you're stuck under a D8 in the middle of the night covered in oil and mud you know the Cat hose is going to fit and that you're not going to be taking it off again :thumbs_up:so all in all it is cheap in the long run.
