If you contact companies like JCB and explained what you require they may help, there are some downloads on CMN that may be of help. There are many helpfull people on the internet.
Start off with learning the basic engineering principals so he will be able to relate to the machines when he gets the manuals.
Also by asking questions on CMN he may get help.

Where are you, Mongolia, The Outer Hebrides, Tadcaster? There are two possibilities local to me but a little more information regarding location and your nephew's expectations may yield some more info from people.

Call me old fashioned, but I would suggest that your Nephew puts his best clothes on and bangs on a few doors - that's how I landed a job or two when I was a yufff!

Julian.

Times are hard these days with a lot of firms laying off rather than take on. But never give up.Bang on a few doors like Julian says. He may get a bit of luck.
Very best of luck

Enthusiasm :D is a greater selling point than any qulification and is a substitute for lack of experience. People will hire those willing to learn, show aptidude, punctuality and TURN UP! I've just given a day realease lad a chance, trouble is he wants to throw in the spanners and drive a machine now!!!!!
