Re: New digger
From what we've learnt it was sold new by Westcountry Machinery back 'then' to a builder/developer, then about 4 yrs ago a farmer/contractor in Somerset bought it. Now he's traded this and a Ford tractor in as well, which I have to say was also bl00dy immaculate - the diff. is on those I know what I'm looking for
For what it's worth the clock shows about 7900hrs, the front loader has hardly any wear in it at all, there's still the original paint on a lot of places. Likewise the overall condition looks genuine enough.
Yes, that's right Nick, its for the farm, we went with the intention of getting a telehandler for loading corn but seeing as we already have one of them toe-tip buckets it should be up to shifting grain as well as digging holes.
So we'll see how it goes

Re: New digger
Pete,
Its got the old 6610 engine with the DPS rotary pump, the book says its about 78hp and to be hon. having driven it 8 miles up & down our wonderfully hilly roads down here I found myself wondering whether it had really had enough gee-gees!!!.....but then it is 7.5 tons......it bl00dy well flies downhill mind.
So far so good, only need to change one headlight bulb & service it up
