Re: MF & Fermec
Hi Craig, and a big welcome to CMN.
I had a few months on a MF50 many years ago on the Waterlooville bypass .. it was a good little machine.
As for your little loader i have no idea, allthough i have seen something like it before, it could be a little Aveling Barford.. but i its only a guess.

Re: MF & Fermec
Little picture of the forerunner to the Massey Ferguson 50, the 252 backhoe loader....
And next is the forerunner of the MF40, the Massey Ferguson 220...
And finally the MF50B mk2 ..this picture is from a sales brochure showing the front bucket controls, and the old "piano" levers and modern 2 levers options
Please dont forget to click on images to get the full picture

I used to have loads of brochures, Col, but like you over the years they go to where ever old brochures go ... as a lad i used to have the construction news (jackers journal) back in the early 60's, and every week there was allways a full size two page pullout from JCB with the centre one being full sized poster photo ... i saved every one but over the years they too disappeared
