Sorry another Hydraulic leak question - JCB 3C2

Hello I recently bought a JCB 3C2.
At first all was well. Then I got two major hydraulic leaks .
Two of the Hydra Clamps started to leak hence my first question. Do the seals for a JCB 3Cx as advertised on Ebay for about £6.00 fit my 3C2 or do I need to take them off and go into my local hydraulic specialist as they've requested. I've spoken to the local main JCB dealer and they couldn't tell me if the parts are the same.

The second leak which is worse and emptied the fluid in about 30 minutes comes from the base of the front loader lever assembly . I've cleaned everything off and checked all the pipes and they are clean. As always with these things it's a real sod to get at behind the Hydraulic Oil tank. There are two bolts I can see at the bottom of the assembly and I suspect there are two more I can't see, I've managed to get a quarter of a turn on the two I can see but this hasn't helped.
Do I need to remove all the pipe work and take the assembly out to have a look at what's leaking or does anyone have an idea what it could be. ?
Regards
Mike.

I would have thought they [JCB agent] ought to be able to tell you if they are the same. If not try Eric Warburton. I am certain that the seals on our old Mk111 were the same as an early 3CX. A £6 you have not got much to lose.

With the other leak check over the hydra chassis to make sure there is not a crack. The main chassis rails carry oil. Never had a Chassis leak on a 2 but our Powertrain cracked around the front axle support area.

Warburton's would definately be the place to try. An excellent, well run, well stocked and knowledgeable outfit.

Quick update in case anyone reading has similar issues.

The JCB 3cX Hydra Clamp seals fit the 3c2. (3C II)

And the leak came from an allen key bolt on the back of the front loader lever assembly. I had to take off the pipes and remove it to get to it. Half a turn and all done. Must work loose over time. Access was best gained by removing the offside wheel and removing the panel.

Hope that helps someone.

Any contaminated oil should be drained and fresh oil of the correct type added; however somebody else on this site will have to tell you how to drain the oil off because I am not familiar with the location of any drain plug on this machine.
