I appreciate everyone who has been able to educate me with my ignorance of a (new to me) backhoe, but I greatly appreciate all the help.

One of the last questions (I hope, for awhile) is about the right lever below the steering wheel.

The lever shows different light levels. Which lights does the lever control? Does it control the lights on top of the cab? If so, then I have a wiring harness problem, if not, then I am lost... again

it may be different on US spec machines ,but here that is for the driving (head) lights mounted half way up the grab handles on the cab , dip to main beam and flash
